Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha

Bharat Ratna Maharshi Dhondo Keshav Karve alies Anna started the educational institute Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha to provide training to women at Hingane, Pune in the year 1896, and in the current era this institute is the lone institute working to build up the careers of women in India.

Today about 25000 girls are studying in more than 50 branches that are established in various regions of Maharashtra.
