महर्षी कर्वे स्त्री शिक्षण संस्थेचे महर्षी कर्वे महिला महाविद्यालय, रत्नागिरी येथे मराठी भाषा दिन (27 फेब्रुवारी 2026) निमित्त केंद्रीय ग्रंथालयामार्फत “कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता (Artificial Intelligence) आणि मराठी भाषा” या विषयावर PPT सादरीकरण उपक्रम आयोजित करण्यात आला.
कार्यक्रमाची सुरुवात प्राचार्या (प्रभारी) प्रा. स्नेहा कोतवडेकर मॅडम यांच्या हस्ते प्रतिमेचे पूजन करून करण्यात आली.
या उपक्रमात महाविद्यालयातील FY BCA, SY BCA आणि TY BCA वर्गातील विद्यार्थिनींनी उत्साहाने सहभाग घेतला. विद्यार्थिनींनी Artificial Intelligence आणि मराठी भाषेचा वापर याविषयी विविध माहितीपूर्ण PPT सादरीकरणे केली.
या स्पर्धेसाठी परीक्षक म्हणून महाविद्यालयातील BCA विभागाचे प्राध्यापक प्रा. केतन पाठरे सर आणि प्रा. विशाखा शिर्के मॅडम उपस्थित होते. त्यांनी विद्यार्थिनींच्या सादरीकरणाचे मूल्यमापन करून विजेत्यांची निवड केली.
स्पर्धेचे निकाल:
कार्यक्रमाच्या शेवटी विजेत्या विद्यार्थिनींना बक्षिसे व प्रमाणपत्रे देऊन गौरविण्यात आले. या उपक्रमामुळे विद्यार्थिनींमध्ये मराठी भाषेचा तांत्रिक आणि डिजिटल क्षेत्रातील वापर याबद्दल जागरूकता निर्माण झाली.
Conclusion:
मराठी भाषा दिन निमित्त आयोजित PPT सादरीकरण उपक्रम विद्यार्थिनींसाठी माहितीपूर्ण आणि प्रेरणादायी ठरला. या उपक्रमामुळे विद्यार्थिनींना Artificial Intelligence आणि मराठी भाषा यांमधील संबंध समजून घेण्याची संधी मिळाली. तसेच विद्यार्थिनींच्या सादरीकरण कौशल्यात वाढ होऊन मराठी भाषेचा तांत्रिक क्षेत्रातील वापर वाढविण्याबाबत सकारात्मक दृष्टीकोन निर्माण झाला. एकूणच हा उपक्रम विद्यार्थिनींच्या शैक्षणिक विकासासाठी उपयुक्त ठरला.

Since the examinations of SY BCA and TY BCA students were completed, they were not present on the day of the activity. Therefore, only FY BCA students gathered at 1:30 PM in the college premises near the staircase area.
The Librarian, Dr. Sumit Kanfade, guided the students to the library and facilitated the issuance of books. Students selected various academic and reading books and actively participated in the reading session.
The activity was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Sneha Kotawadekar with the cooperation and support of Teaching Staff, Non-Teaching Staff members, and Library Committee members.
Conclusion:
The reading activity was successfully conducted. It helped in developing reading habits among FY BCA students and encouraged them to make better use of the library. The active support of Teaching Staff, Non-Teaching Staff members, and Library Committee members ensured the smooth and successful execution of the program.

Summary of the Activity/Event:
The Central Library organized a Book Exhibition on 12 August 2026 on the occasion of National Librarian’s Day and the birth anniversary of Dr. S. R. Ranganathan.
The exhibition showcased a variety of books covering different subjects, including reference books, computer and technology-related books, literature, inspirational books and knowledge-based books.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Project President Shri. Ravindra Dev and in the presence of I/C Principal Prof. Sneha Kotawadekar. Prof. Kotawadekar paid tribute to Dr. S. R. Ranganathan and addressed the students.
Librarian Dr. Sumit Kanfade highlighted the life and contribution of Dr. S. R. Ranganathan to the field of Library and Information Science and encouraged students to make maximum use of library resources and develop regular reading habits.
Students, teaching staff and non-teaching staff visited the exhibition and actively participated in the activity.
Attendance: A total of 64 participants attended the programme, comprising 56 students and 8 staff members.
Outcome:
Feedback regarding the programme was collected through Google Form. A total of 59 feedback responses were received from the participants.
The majority of the participants rated the various aspects of the programme as Excellent and Very Good, indicating a positive response towards the Book Exhibition.
The Book Exhibition organized by the Central Library on the occasion of National Librarian’s Day 2026 was successfully conducted. The activity created awareness about books and library resources and encouraged students to develop reading habits and make effective use of the Central Library.
The participation of 56 students and 8 staff members, along with 59 feedback responses, reflects the positive response and successful conduct of the programme.
युवा महोत्सवात महर्षी कर्वे महिला महाविद्यालय रत्नागिरीची दमदार विजयी कामगिरी!
महर्षी धोंडो केशव कर्वे स्त्री शिक्षण संस्था, संचालित महर्षी कर्वे महिला महाविद्यालय, रत्नागिरी येथील विद्यार्थिनींनी पुणे येथील के. बी. जोशी इन्स्टिट्यूट येथे आयोजित एसएनडीटी प्रादेशिक युवा महोत्सव २०२६-२७ मध्ये आपल्या कलागुणांचा उत्कृष्ट आविष्कार सादर करत दैदिप्यमान यश संपादन केले. विविध सांस्कृतिक स्पर्धांमध्ये उल्लेखनीय कामगिरी करत महाविद्यालयाने नाट्य विभागाची विजेतेपदाची चषक पटकावली.
या महोत्सवात साहित्य, ललित कला, नाट्य आणि नृत्य अशा विविध विभागांमध्ये महाविद्यालयाच्या विद्यार्थिनींनी उत्स्फूर्त सहभाग घेतला. विविध स्पर्धांमध्ये उत्कृष्ट सादरीकरण करत विद्यार्थिनींनी अनेक पारितोषिके मिळविली. त्यांच्या या उल्लेखनीय कामगिरीमुळे महाविद्यालयाच्या शिरपेचात आणखी एक मानाचा तुरा खोवला गेला आहे.
साहित्य विभागात वक्तृत्व स्पर्धेतील मराठी भाषणासाठी पूर्वा बुटाला – तृतीय क्रमांक, तर हिंदी भाषणासाठी सफा काझी – उत्तेजनार्थ पारितोषिक मिळाले. वादविवाद स्पर्धेत हिंदीमध्ये आयेशा मुल्ला व सफा काझी – तृतीय क्रमांक, तर इंग्रजीमध्ये तीर्था नारवणकर व नुपूर सावंत – द्वितीय क्रमांक मिळविला. निबंध स्पर्धेत मराठीसाठी तेजस्विनी पाटील – तृतीय क्रमांक, तर हिंदीसाठी केदांती कीर – तृतीय क्रमांक मिळविला.
ललित कला विभागात कोलाज स्पर्धेत रिया कीर – तृतीय क्रमांक मिळविला. मातीशिल्प स्पर्धेत श्रावणी आंब्रे – प्रथम क्रमांक, आयेशा मुल्ला – द्वितीय क्रमांक आणि सानिका कदम – तृतीय क्रमांक स्पॉट फोटोग्राफी - भक्ती कामेरकर उत्तेजनार्थ मिळवून विद्यार्थिनींनी उल्लेखनीय कामगिरी केली.
नाट्य विभागात विद्यार्थिनींनी विशेष दमदार कामगिरी केली. एकांकिका स्पर्धेत प्रथम क्रमांक, मूकाभिनय स्पर्धेत प्रथम क्रमांक, नाटिका स्पर्धेत द्वितीय क्रमांक आणि पथनाट्य स्पर्धेत तृतीय क्रमांक मिळविला. तसेच नकला स्पर्धेत सानिका कदम – उत्तेजनार्थ पारितोषिक मिळाले. या दमदार कामगिरीच्या जोरावर महाविद्यालयाने नाट्य विभागाची विजेतेपदाची चषक पटकावली.
नृत्य विभागातही विद्यार्थिनींनी आपल्या कलागुणांची प्रभावी छाप उमटवली. लोकनृत्य स्पर्धेत महाविद्यालयाच्या विद्यार्थिनींनी प्रथम क्रमांक मिळवत उल्लेखनीय यश संपादन केले.
महर्षी कर्वे महिला महाविद्यालयाच्या विद्यार्थिनी गेल्या अनेक वर्षांपासून एसएनडीटी युवा महोत्सवात सातत्याने सहभागी होत असून, विविध सांस्कृतिक विभागांमध्ये आपल्या गुणवत्तेची आणि कलागुणांची प्रभावी छाप उमटवत आहेत. या स्पर्धांमध्ये विद्यार्थिनींनी उल्लेखनीय यश संपादन करत विविध विभागांमध्ये चॅम्पियनशिप ट्रॉफी मिळविण्याची गौरवशाली परंपरा कायम राखली आहे.
विद्यार्थिनींच्या या यशामागे त्यांचा सातत्यपूर्ण सराव, मेहनत, सांघिक भावना आणि योग्य मार्गदर्शन यांचा महत्त्वपूर्ण वाटा आहे. सर्व विद्यार्थिनींना सांस्कृतिक विभाग प्रमुख प्रा. प्रतिभा लोंढे तसेच थिएटरसाठी मयूर साळवी, श्रेयस माईन, साहिल चरकरी व नृत्य दिग्दर्शक म्हणून रुपेश धाडवे यांचे मार्गदर्शन लाभले.
या सर्व विजेता विद्यार्थिनींचे महाविद्यालयाच्या प्र. प्राचार्या स्नेहा कोतवडेकर, रत्नागिरी प्रकल्पाचे अध्यक्ष श्री .रवींद्र देव, स्थानीय व्यवस्थापन समितीचे सदस्य, पदाधिकारी, शिक्षक आणि शिक्षकेतर कर्मचारी यांनी अभिनंदन केले. विद्यार्थिनींच्या या उल्लेखनीय कामगिरीबद्दल महाविद्यालय परिवाराने आनंद व्यक्त केला.
महर्षी कर्वे महिला महाविद्यालयाच्या विद्यार्थिनींनी शिक्षणासोबतच कला, संस्कृती आणि सर्जनशीलतेच्या क्षेत्रातही आपली वेगळी ओळख निर्माण केली आहे. या स्पर्धांमध्ये मिळविलेल्या यशामुळे विद्यार्थिनींच्या कलागुणांना नवे व्यासपीठ मिळाले असून, त्यांच्या या कामगिरीमुळे महाविद्यालयाच्या नावलौकिकात भर पडली आहे.
विद्यार्थिनींच्या या विजयी भरारीबद्दल महाविद्यालय परिवारातून त्यांच्यावर अभिनंदनाचा वर्षाव होत असून, त्यांच्या पुढील वाटचालीसाठी शुभेच्छा व्यक्त केल्या जात आहेत.
The college observed Anti-Ragging Week from 12th August to 19th August 2025 with the aim of spreading awareness about the harmful effects of ragging and promoting a safe and respectful environment on campus.
As part of the celebrations, the department of Anti Ragging and NSS organised various activities for the students, including competitions like E-logo Designing (on 12th August 2025), Poster Making (on 13th August 2025), and Slogan Writing (on 14th August 2025). These activities encouraged creativity and helped students express their views against ragging in a thoughtful and impactful manner. In addition to these competitions, all students were required to fill out Anti-Ragging Undertaking Forms as a formal declaration of their commitment to maintaining a ragging-free campus.
A major highlight of the week was the Street Play (demonstrated on 18th August 2025), which was self-composed by one of the third year student and performed by a group of students. The play effectively showcased the ill effects of ragging, emphasizing the emotional and psychological impact it can have on victims. The performance was well-received and served as a powerful reminder of the importance of empathy and mutual respect.
The Anti-Ragging Week was a successful initiative that engaged students in meaningful dialogue and reinforced the institution’s commitment to ensuring a safe and inclusive academic environment for all.
